Mr
Barry Storton IV Degree Black Belt
All classes are led by Mr Storton (IV Dan) who is a qualified instructor, first aid trained and CRB checked. He has been studying the art for over 20 years and opened the Tidworth school of Taekwon-Do in 2000.
He dedicates a great deal of time to the teaching of Taekwon-Do to both adults and children and encourages his students to be active participants in all areas of the art.
Mrs Susan Julyan II Degree Black Belt
Classes are supported by the other black belts, particularly Mrs Julyan who provides invaluable support in the children's classes.
She promoted to II Dan in August 2007 and is keen to continue developing her own skills as well as supporting the development of other class members.
Mr Neil Sanderson I Degree Black Belt
I
started Taekwon Do in 1981 almost 30 years ago, after 2 years the school I
was with had to close. After 18months I found another school and started
training again. After another 2 years I was promoted to 3rd Kup. It was now
1987 and I joined the Army, and once again my training had to stop. As the
years passed Taekwon Do became just a distant dream.
In 2004 I accepted the fact that I would never become a black
belt. However, after being posted to Tidworth I learned of a Taekwon Do
school, and in 2006 I once again began my Taekwon Do training. In Sept 2010,
after 4 ½ years I was finally on my way to Scotland and my black belt
grading. On completion of the black belt seminar and grading I was promoted
to black belt 1st degree, and presented my belt by First Grandmaster Rhee Ki
Ha IX degree. Since then I have recently completed my national ‘C’ class
instructor’s course.
